Our Children Need You!

The PCCPTA Nominating Committee requests that all PTA members give thoughtful, careful consideration to their volunteer commitment for the 2010-2011 school year. If you are willing to share your time and talent to help “every child” in a Council role or know of someone to recommend, please contact Mary Bartholf at marypta@gmail.com. While the nominating committee is working diligently to put forth the best possible slate of nominees for the elected offices, there are also many positions that will be filled by appointment at a later date. Therefore, the more people who express a willingness to serve, the better prepared we will be to provide the leadership, services and programs to meet the needs of our PTA community.

The Pinellas County Council of PTAs serves:

“every child” including 112,000+ Pre-K – 12 students in Pinellas County
24,000+ members
120+ local PTA units

Your PCCPTA leadership consists of at least:
14 PCCPTA Executive Board Members (8 Elected)
18 PCCPTA Committee Chairs, plus additional committee participants
18 Representatives to School District Committees
4 Representatives to Other Community Organizations

To be most effective, Pinellas County Council PTA leadership should be representative of all communities in the district. There are numerous opportunities to participate.
Please consider how you might contribute a bit of your time and talent next year!

Sincerely,

The PCCPTA Nominating Committee

Mary Bartholf, Chair
Bonnie Choate
Jillian Connolly
Linda Kearschner
Kimberly Qualls
Debbie Sawa-Szostak
