Nancy Uelmen Receives
Prevention Leadership Award
Nancy Uelmen,
a
LiveFree! Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Pinellas
County Advisory Board of Director and active PCCPTA member
received the 2007 Florida Prevention Leadership Award for her
active involvement in mobilizing parents and East Lake community
members to make a difference regarding underage drinking and
other alcohol and drug prevention. Mrs. Uelmen was nominated by
Operation PAR Chief Executive Officer Nancy Hamilton, MPA, CAP,
CCJAP and the sponsoring partner was the Florida Department of
Children and Families. The 2007 Who's Who in Florida Prevention
Leadership Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held at the
Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando on Tuesday evening, 6:30 p.m. on
October 2nd. The award presentation will be made by
the Office of Drug Control Director Bill Janes and a
representative from the Sponsoring Partner.
