We were delighted to have the Pinellas Education Foundation, the League of Women Voters, Bright House Networks, the St. Petersburg Times, and PDS-TV 14, Pinellas County Schools Television as co-sponsors of this important non-partisan, civic event. The Pinellas County School Board Candidates Forum provided candidates an opportunity to address a wide range of issues that affect children and the future of education in Pinellas County. It is our expectation that the Forum encourage parents and other voters to demonstrate their role as child advocates by becoming better informed about their choices for their elected representatives.
